Our People
As a Company, we have taken steps to enhance workforce engagement, training and development, employee networks, and regular communication updates with senior management. We work closely with all our employees and local authorities at both head office and the mine site to ensure that staff are able to engage in the Company’s activities in a safe working environment.
The Company has an equality and diversity policy and has communicated it to its employees in a formal manner after consultation with the local authorities. This policy reinforces our commitment to providing equality and fairness to all in our employment. Currently, women represent 21% of our workforce, and we continue to promote opportunities for increased representation across all levels of the business.
We are opposed to all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination. All employees, part-time, full-time, or temporary, are treated fairly and with respect. We enforce current work practices and operate within the spirit of the law. When selecting candidates for employment, promotion, training, or any other benefit, it is done solely based on aptitude and ability.
